Number two in my series of oil paintings. This is also around A4 size. Can you guess I was working with a leaves theme

?

Anyway, this is my ex-boyfriend here. Taking the photograph that I worked from was loads of fun. I completely buried him in these leaves from a local park. Was done last autumn when I was still going out with him, lol.

I don't like the face too much but for a oil-painting this is really well done. Especially the leaves. Keep it up +8

The leaves are sort of floating above him instead of resting on him. The area below his lips is disproportionate and his nose line is very sharp. The hands look like the hands of a child. He looks dead. I don't know if you meant to do that or not, but I like it. I love his eyes and facial expression.

Haha, sorry, I didn't mean to be rude or anything with my earlier comments. Just because I think two of your pictures wern't perfect doesn't mean I think you're a bad artist or something like that. I like this most of your artworks. The colors are beautiful, the face is stylish and special. The deatil is ritch, and the composition is intersting. =)

I think the overall effect is brilliant, reminds me of those medievil Tudor portraits of Queens, and the leaves are like hair and royal gown etc! Dont worry I have no idea what I'm on about too but its lovely.
